  • • As a Compliance Manager at Rula Health, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of a rapidly growing behavioral health network by ensuring adherence to complex federal and state healthcare regulations, directly supporting the company’s mission to destigmatize and expand access to mental healthcare.
  • • You will lead end-to-end compliance investigations, translate regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for clinical and operational teams, and design scalable policies that balance risk mitigation with the organization’s goal of increasing access to care.

  • • You will collaborate closely with Clinical, Business Operations, Billing, and Legal teams to proactively identify and remediate compliance risks, while building a culture of continuous improvement through auditing, training, and cross-functional partnership.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in behavioral health compliance, telehealth regulations, and provider licensure reporting, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who influences organizational strategy and drives systemic change in a high-impact, values-aligned environment.
  • • You will gain hands-on experience architecting compliance programs from the ground up in a fast-scaling startup, sharpening your skills in risk assessment, policy development, regulatory interpretation, and stakeholder engagement—all while contributing to meaningful improvements in mental healthcare access and quality.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, including policy development, regulatory interpretation, and program implementation
  • • 3+ years conducting or supporting compliance investigations
  • • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • • Experience collaborating with business and key stakeholders (e.g., Legal) on compliance concerns and risks
  • • Strong and concise communication skills, both verbal and written
  • • Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS guidance, OIG compliance program guidance, and other applicable federal and state healthcare laws
