- • As the statutorily appointed Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for OKX Technology Services Pte. Ltd. in Seychelles, you will be instrumental in shaping and safeguarding our regulatory standing.
- • This pivotal role demands a strategic leader to establish, maintain, and rigorously monitor an effective compliance framework, ensuring adherence to all directives from the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) and the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
- • Your expertise will be crucial in navigating the complex landscape of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (CFT) obligations, market conduct regulations, and prudential standards pertinent to Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs).
- • You will serve as the primary liaison with the Seychelles FSA and FIU, managing all interactions, including inspections and audits, and ensuring transparent and timely communication.
- • A core responsibility will be the development, implementation, and continuous updating of the Compliance Manual, the comprehensive AML/CFT program, and all associated internal policies and procedures.
- • You will be accountable for the accurate and punctual submission of all regulatory returns, notifications, and reports required by the Seychelles authorities.
- • In your capacity as MLRO, you will be responsible for the diligent preparation and submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the FIU, playing a critical role in combating financial crime.
- • You will oversee the implementation and adherence to the Travel Rule and other specific requirements governing virtual asset transfers, ensuring our operations meet evolving global standards.
- • The role involves conducting ongoing customer reviews and periodic risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
- • You will maintain and update the compliance risk register, leading comprehensive risk assessments to understand and manage the company's risk exposure.
- • A key function is the development and execution of a robust compliance monitoring and testing program, designed to identify any control weaknesses and recommend effective remedial actions.
- • You will provide regular, insightful compliance reports to the Board of Directors, clearly articulating identified risks, any breaches, and the progress of remediation efforts.
- • A significant part of your role will involve developing and delivering comprehensive AML/CFT and general compliance training programs for all staff and directors, fostering a deep understanding and commitment to regulatory adherence.
- • You will champion and cultivate a strong, pervasive culture of compliance throughout the entire organization, embedding ethical conduct and regulatory awareness into the daily operations.
- • You will continuously monitor emerging regulatory developments, both locally and internationally, and provide timely, actionable advice to senior management on their potential implications for OKX's operations and strategy.
- • Collaboration will be key; you will work closely with business, operations, and technology teams to ensure compliance considerations are seamlessly integrated into all day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives.
- • You will supervise and mentor the Alternate Compliance Officer, ensuring they are fully equipped and ready to deputise in your absence, maintaining continuity of compliance oversight.
- • You will provide essential compliance input and support for the development and expansion of new products and services, ensuring they are launched in a compliant manner.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in compliance, AML/CFT, or regulatory risk management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- • In-depth knowledge and practical understanding of the Seychelles regulatory framework, particularly concerning Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs), AML/CFT, and financial crime prevention.
- • Proven experience in drafting and implementing compliance policies and procedures, handling Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs), and actively engaging with regulatory bodies.
- • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and enhancing compliance programs within the financial services, fintech, or virtual asset sectors.
- • Comprehensive understanding of global AML/CFT frameworks (e.g., FATF recommendations), regulatory governance principles, and operational compliance best practices.
- • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and effectively navigate relationships with both internal stakeholders and external regulators.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
