Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Own the end-to-end configuration, testing, and deployment of Epicor’s Sales Modules for mid-market and enterprise manufacturing clients, acting as the primary functional expert during 8- to 16-week implementation sprints.
  • • Translate complex sales-order-to-cash processes—quoting, pricing, commissions, EDI, CRM integration—into clean Epicor configurations that eliminate manual work, reduce order cycle time, and give plant managers real-time visibility into backlog and margin.
  • • Run discovery workshops with sales directors, customer service managers, and IT stakeholders to map current-state pain points, then architect future-state workflows that leverage Epicor’s Sales Management, Advanced Quote, and Configurator engines.
  • • Build and maintain detailed work plans, sprint backlogs, and risk logs in Azure DevOps or MS Project; update the Project Manager daily on scope, budget, and resource needs so every engagement finishes on time and within 5 % of the original estimate.
  • • Configure master data (customers, price lists, discount matrices, salesperson hierarchies), author test scripts, and coordinate user-acceptance testing with super-users to ensure 98 % first-pass accuracy before go-live.
  • • Deliver remote and onsite training sessions—virtual classrooms, quick-reference guides, and recorded demos—so end users adopt new processes quickly and confidently; track adoption KPIs for 90 days post go-live.
  • • Identify and escalate risks early (e.g., custom pricing rules that conflict with standard Epicor logic) and present two mitigation options backed by effort, cost, and ROI analysis.
  • • Collaborate with Epicor’s development, support, and product teams to log enhancement requests and influence the roadmap for Sales Modules based on field feedback.
  • • Achieve and maintain Epicor Sales Modules certification within six months; expand expertise to additional operations modules (Production, Inventory, Planning) within 18 months to unlock larger, multi-module engagements.
  • • Maintain 75 % billable utilization by balancing up to four concurrent small projects or one large program, ensuring every deliverable meets Epicor’s quality standards and earns a CSAT score of 8.5/10 or higher.
  • • Travel up to 30 – 40 % to manufacturing sites across North America for discovery, training, and go-live support; coordinate travel to minimize cost and maximize face-to-face impact.
  • • Contribute to the Consulting Services knowledge base by publishing reusable configuration templates, lessons-learned articles, and best-practice webinars that shorten future implementations by 10 %.
  • • Mentor junior consultants and share real-world scenarios during Epicor’s monthly enablement calls, reinforcing a culture of continuous learning and customer obsession.
  • • Champion Epicor’s “Proactive, Proud, Partners” culture by proactively suggesting process improvements, celebrating client wins, and building long-term relationships that lead to expansion opportunities.
