Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • Are you a seasoned pension professional with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of retirement planning, actuarial principles, and regulatory landscapes? 10Xteam Inc. is seeking experienced pension consultants, actuaries, and scheme managers to join our innovative team as AI Trainers on a freelance basis. This unique opportunity allows you to leverage your extensive expertise to significantly enhance the capabilities of cutting-edge AI systems, contributing to the development of more accurate, reliable, and sophisticated artificial intelligence in the financial and retirement planning sectors.
  • In this dynamic and impactful role, you will be instrumental in refining AI-generated content related to a wide array of pension-related topics. Your primary responsibility will involve meticulously reviewing and evaluating AI outputs concerning pension schemes, retirement planning strategies, and the complex web of regulatory frameworks that govern them. This goes beyond simple fact-checking; you will be assessing the outputs for their technical accuracy, ensuring they align with sound actuarial principles, and verifying their compliance with relevant regulations. Your insights will be crucial in identifying nuances and potential misinterpretations that an AI might make, thereby guiding its learning process.
  • A significant part of your contribution will involve the creation of realistic and diverse pension scenarios. This includes designing both defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes, analyzing funding deficits, addressing cross-border pension transfer complexities, establishing appropriate actuarial assumptions, and delving into trustee governance issues. You will be tasked with developing variations of these scenarios from multiple stakeholder perspectives. This means thinking like a pension trustee, an employer sponsor, an independent actuary, a regulatory body, or even a scheme beneficiary. By simulating these different viewpoints, you will help the AI develop a more comprehensive and empathetic understanding of the pension ecosystem.
  • Your role is to identify and articulate weaknesses in the AI's reasoning, whether it pertains to funding logic, the appropriateness of longevity assumptions, the interpretation of regulatory guidelines, or the effectiveness of risk management approaches. You will provide constructive feedback and corrections, directly shaping the AI's ability to reason about complex financial and actuarial problems. Essentially, you will be a critical bridge between real-world pension practices and the evolving intelligence of AI, ensuring that the technology accurately reflects and can effectively assist with these critical financial matters.
  • This position is distinct from traditional pension administration. Instead of managing the day-to-day operations of a single pension scheme, your focus will be on a higher, systemic level. You will be shaping how AI understands and reasons about pensions and retirement frameworks globally, influencing its performance across a broad spectrum of related subjects. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving AI's accuracy and utility in pension, retirement, and long-term funding discussions, making a tangible difference in how these complex areas are understood and managed by AI systems.
  • The role is designed for professionals who can dedicate between 8 to 20 hours per week, offering significant flexibility to complement existing roles or consulting engagements. It is a fully remote position, open to experienced pension professionals based within the EU or UK. We provide a clear scope of work, structured onboarding, and the potential for long-term collaboration based on your performance and the ongoing needs of our AI development projects. This is an exceptional chance to pivot your deep industry knowledge into the burgeoning field of artificial intelligence, gaining valuable experience and contributing to a transformative technology.
