- • Evaluate customer creditworthiness by analyzing financial data, credit reports from TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax, and key metrics including Payment-to-Income (PTI), Debt-to-Income (DTI), and Credit Utilization to determine loan eligibility and optimal financing terms.
- • Manage and facilitate financing solutions for homeowners and prospective customers by identifying the most suitable lending programs based on individual qualifications and needs.
- • Serve as a liaison between customers, sales representatives, and lending partners to obtain required documentation, clarify loan stipulations, and ensure timely communication throughout the approval process.
- • Accurately enter, update, and maintain customer loan information within the company’s credit management platform (CFW) to ensure complete and compliant records.
- • Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and adherence to lender underwriting guidelines and company policies.
- • Monitor loan pipelines and proactively follow up on pending applications to expedite approvals and funding timelines.
- • Communicate financing decisions, conditions, and next steps clearly to customers and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
- • Collaborate with Design Consultants (DCs) and sales teams to structure financing solutions that align with customer needs while complying with lender requirements.
- • Maintain current knowledge of active lending partners, financing programs, underwriting guidelines, and product offerings to provide accurate and up-to-date advice.
- • Stay informed on industry trends, consumer lending regulations, and credit policies that impact financing decisions and compliance.
- • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries, resolving documentation issues, and guiding customers through the financing process.
- • Work within a hybrid schedule: three days per week in the Indianapolis, IN office (standard business hours), and two days remotely (12pm–8:30pm or 1pm–9:30pm).
- • Ensure all activities comply with company standards and lender-specific regulations to mitigate risk and maintain operational integrity.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis, consumer lending, finance, banking, or a related field
- • Strong understanding of credit reporting, underwriting principles, and consumer lending practices
- • Experience analyzing Payment-to-Income (PTI), Debt-to-Income (DTI), and Credit Utilization metrics
- • Proficiency in reviewing credit reports from TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and credit management software platforms
- • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
