- • Amplify Education is seeking a Content and Instructional Specialist in English Language Arts to develop and review core curricular materials that engage students in rigorous, standards-aligned learning. This contract role supports the creation of innovative ELA lessons that integrate rich content knowledge with literacy skill development, helping students become critical readers, writers, speakers, and thinkers across diverse audiences and purposes.
- • The specialist will play a key role in shaping instructional materials used by over 15 million students nationwide, ensuring alignment with educational standards while addressing the needs of diverse learners through thoughtful, engaging, and inclusive design.
- • Develop and review instruction that authentically aligns to state and national standards, ensuring content progresses in meaningful, scaffolded ways that build foundational and advanced literacy skills across grade levels.
- • Revise and adapt instructional materials to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners, including varying reading levels, language backgrounds, and learning styles, using differentiated strategies to promote equity and access.
- • Source, evaluate, and select high-quality, engaging texts—including literary, informational, and multimedia resources—that serve as anchors for deep reading, analysis, and student-driven inquiry.
- • Craft comprehensive lessons that guide students through close reading, textual investigation, collaborative discussion, and expressive outcomes such as writing, presentations, or performances that demonstrate understanding and skill application.
- • Collaborate closely with instructional designers, developers, editors, and other content producers to transform lesson concepts into interactive, classroom-ready materials that leverage technology and pedagogical best practices.
- • Participate in team-based content development cycles, contributing to brainstorming, drafting, reviewing, and refining materials through iterative feedback processes that prioritize accuracy, engagement, and instructional effectiveness.

🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of elementary education experience in developing and implementing engagement and grouping strategies, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- • Proven experience crafting challenging, engaging, standards-based lessons or curricula
- • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
