• As a Content Creator - Social Media at Cohere Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand voice and digital presence of a leading AI company, translating complex technological innovations into engaging, accessible content that resonates with global audiences of developers, enterprises, and tech enthusiasts.
• Your work will directly contribute to Cohere’s mission of scaling intelligence to serve humanity by making cutting-edge AI concepts tangible and compelling through strategic storytelling across social platforms.
• Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and emerging channels, ensuring brand consistency while adapting tone, format, and messaging to maximize engagement on each platform.
• Create end-to-end multimedia content including written copy, visual assets, and short-form videos, leveraging both traditional design tools and AI-powered generation techniques to produce high-impact, scroll-stopping material.
• Monitor real-time social trends, platform algorithm updates, and audience behavior to inform content ideation and rapidly experiment with new formats such as AI-generated shorts, carousel posts, and interactive stories.
• Collaborate closely with Design, Marketing, Product, and PR teams to align social content with product launches, research announcements, and brand campaigns, ensuring cohesive messaging across all touchpoints.
• Establish Cohere’s presence on emerging platforms by testing innovative content strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and scaling successful approaches to grow audience reach and engagement.
• Use analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rate, follower growth, and click-through rates, then refine content approaches based on data-driven insights to continuously improve effectiveness.
• Act as a scrappy, autonomous creator capable of managing the full content lifecycle—from concept and creation to publishing and performance review—in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of proven experience in social media content creation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating platform-specific strategies, audience growth, and engagement success at a technology company or similar innovative organization.
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling, end-to-end content independently—including copywriting, visual design, and video production—with a do-er mentality and comfort working in fast-paced, scrappy environments.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, including the capacity to analyze audience behavior, track performance metrics, and adapt content strategies based on trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, with experience working effectively across cross-functional teams such as Design, Marketing, Product, and PR to align content with broader business goals.
• Genuine curiosity about AI and interest in experimenting with AI-powered tools for content creation, optimization, and performance analysis, even without prior technical expertise.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for exploring new platforms and content formats, with a track record of successfully launching and growing presence on emerging social channels.
