- • Day-to-day responsibilities include editing and proofreading content for clarity and tone, optimizing for search and AI answer engines, maintaining brand voice consistency, providing feedback to writers, reviewing briefs for SEO alignment, monitoring performance metrics, and staying current with AI search trends.
- • The role is with one of Weekday's clients, operating remotely from Pune, India, in a fast-paced environment that values precision, collaboration, and innovation in content strategy.
- • The person will develop expertise in AEO/GEO, refine advanced editing skills, gain exposure to AI content tools and analytics, and contribute to content that ranks well and is cited by LLMs, enhancing both technical and strategic capabilities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–4 years of experience in content editing, editorial management, or content marketing roles
- • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword strategy, on-page optimization, internal linking, and search intent mapping
- • Excellent command of written English, with strengths in grammar, structure, flow, and readability
- • Ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously within a fast-paced editorial environment
- • Experience using AI writing tools and the ability to identify and enhance AI-assisted content (preferred)
- • Familiarity with content optimization platforms such as Surfer SEO, Semrush, or Clearscope (preferred)
