📋 Description
- • The Content Editor role at DTN supports digital content operations and manages the WordPress-based Ag Hub for Farmers site, ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging agricultural business content reaches a specialized B2B audience.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include editing and posting media content across platforms, managing the Ag Hub site layout and pages, fact-checking reporter submissions, crafting SEO-optimized headlines, adapting content to editorial style and customer segments, participating in daily editorial meetings, and coordinating with reporters and editors to maintain high publishing standards.
- • DTN is a global data and technology company serving energy, agriculture, and weather-driven industries with its Operational Decisioning Platform, employing over 1,200 people worldwide and trusted by clients who feed, fuel, and protect the world.
- • In this role, the Content Editor will sharpen skills in B2B journalism, technical content editing, CMS management, and real-time newsroom workflows, while contributing to mission-critical content that supports operational decision-making in vital industries.
🎯 Requirements
- • One to five years of experience in journalism writing and/or editing
- • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or equivalent
- • Working knowledge of word processing, content management systems, and spreadsheet software
- • Ability to work in high-demand, short time frame environments with breaking news and critical market information
- • Experience editing and rewriting technical content to improve accuracy and clarity
- • Familiarity with or interest in business journalism, particularly in a B2B marketplace
