đź“‹ Description
- • Stacker is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Content Manager, Editorial & Insights to play a pivotal role in shaping how credible narratives gain traction and influence in today's AI-driven search landscape. As content is a primary driver of growth for Stacker, this position is central to defining and executing strategies that leverage our unique data, distribution intelligence, and market perspectives to build authority and reach.
- • You will be responsible for translating complex data and industry trends into clear, compelling, and trustworthy stories that educate the market on current events and their significance. This role demands a strategic thinker who can own insight-led storytelling across various channels, including acquisition, retention, and thought leadership initiatives, ultimately positioning Stacker as a leading authority in earned media, GEO (geographical targeting), and modern content distribution strategies.
- • Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Account Management, as well as our editorial team. This collaborative effort ensures that Stacker's market perspective is consistently communicated, rigorously evidence-based, and accurately reflects the realities faced by publishers.
- • This is a senior individual contributor role offering a high degree of autonomy and visibility. The focus will be on ensuring clarity, credibility, and narrative coherence across all external communications and content produced by Stacker. If you are passionate about influencing how an industry understands itself, adept at transforming intricate data into relatable and trustworthy narratives, and driven to build enduring authority in a crowded digital ecosystem, this role provides significant ownership and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
- • Your core responsibilities will include developing and owning Stacker's comprehensive editorial and insights content strategy. This encompasses a wide range of content formats, such as blog posts, GEO-aligned resources, in-depth case studies, and customer communications, all designed to resonate with our target audiences.
- • A key aspect of the role involves analyzing Stacker's proprietary data, understanding publisher behavior patterns, and evaluating distribution performance metrics. The goal is to identify meaningful insights and recurring patterns that can be translated into compelling content.
- • You will excel at translating complex signals and data points into clear, accessible narratives that effectively establish authority and build trust with marketers, publishers, and strategic partners. This requires a strong ability to distill complex information into actionable and engaging content.
- • A significant part of your contribution will be the creation of flagship thought-leadership assets. This includes developing original research, defining industry frameworks, and producing detailed explainers that address critical topics within the media and marketing landscape.
- • You will also own the production and distribution of a bi-weekly customer insights newsletter. This newsletter will serve as a vital communication channel, translating performance data and emerging market trends into tangible value for our customers.
- • Maintaining a consistent, credible, and authoritative voice across all external-facing content is paramount. This includes ensuring adherence to high editorial standards and brand guidelines.
- • Furthermore, you will be instrumental in building and documenting repeatable workflows. These processes will streamline the transformation of raw data and market signals into high-impact storytelling assets, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- • The ideal candidate will possess an owner's mindset, deeply caring about the impact of their work. You should be energized by the challenge of transforming raw, potentially messy data into clear, insightful stories, forming strong, defensible points of view, and articulating the 'why' behind industry trends.
- • You will demonstrate a balance between strategic foresight and a proactive bias towards execution and rapid learning. Natural collaboration skills and a commitment to shared context are essential for success in our remote-first environment.
- • Asking thoughtful questions, actively seeking and incorporating feedback without defensiveness, and elevating the contributions of colleagues are key attributes.
- • A genuine interest in the well-being of publishers, a commitment to editorial integrity, and an understanding of the crucial role trusted storytelling plays in a healthy media ecosystem are highly valued.
- • Most importantly, you will be intrinsically motivated by the work itself, finding purpose in building authority through earned reach and contributing to the definition of how modern content earns trust and visibility in the digital space.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial, journalism, research, or insight-driven B2B marketing.
- • Proven ability to synthesize complex data and information into clear, credible, and compelling narratives.
- • Strong editorial judgment and exceptional writing skills, capable of engaging sophisticated and skeptical audiences.
- • Demonstrated experience owning content projects end-to-end, from initial concept and strategy through execution and impact measurement.
- • Comfort and proficiency working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- • Excellent written communication skills and strong habits for asynchronous collaboration.
