Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Fast Forward is on a mission to accelerate tech nonprofits that are tackling humanity’s most urgent challenges—climate change, healthcare access, education equity, and more. As our Content Marketing Manager, you will be the voice that amplifies these world-changing organizations, translating complex impact into stories that move hearts, open wallets, and mobilize talent.
- • Own and evolve Fast Forward’s brand narrative across every touchpoint—website, blog, email, social, press, events, and partner channels—ensuring a consistent, compelling story that positions us as the definitive hub for tech nonprofit acceleration.
- • Produce high-impact editorial content: long-form thought-leadership articles, founder spotlights, data-driven impact reports, snackable social threads, and multimedia case studies that showcase how tech nonprofits scale from idea to global solution.
- • Build and manage an editorial calendar that balances evergreen storytelling with rapid-response commentary on sector trends, funding announcements, and policy shifts, always tying back to Fast Forward’s unique value proposition.
- • Collaborate closely with our portfolio companies to surface their breakthroughs and challenges, then package those insights into content that educates funders, attracts talent, and inspires replication across the sector.
- • Drive measurable growth in audience engagement: increase organic traffic, newsletter subscribers, and social followers while improving conversion rates for donations, applications, and event registrations.
- • Partner with the Programs team to turn cohort demo days, accelerator sessions, and funder briefings into rich content assets—live blogs, recap videos, quote graphics, and Twitter Spaces—that extend the life of every program milestone.
- • Leverage SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to identify high-intent keywords, optimize existing content, and uncover new topic clusters that position Fast Forward as the go-to resource for tech nonprofit insights.
- • Spearhead multimedia experimentation: launch a podcast mini-series featuring tech nonprofit founders, pilot interactive data visualizations on sector funding gaps, and test short-form TikTok explainers that demystify tech for social good.
- • Manage freelance writers, designers, and videographers; set clear creative briefs, enforce brand guidelines, and maintain a rigorous editorial QA process that ensures every asset meets journalistic standards and nonprofit sensitivity.
- • Cultivate relationships with tech, philanthropy, and mainstream media outlets to secure guest columns, podcast interviews, and keynote slots that elevate Fast Forward’s thought leadership and expand our reach to new donor and talent pools.
- • Translate complex metrics—lives impacted, carbon reduced, students reached—into emotionally resonant stories that satisfy both data-driven funders and mission-driven supporters.
- • Champion accessibility and inclusivity in all content, ensuring materials meet WCAG guidelines and reflect the diverse communities our portfolio serves.
- • Report monthly on content performance against KPIs: traffic growth, engagement rate, email open/click-through rates, and downstream conversions; iterate rapidly based on insights.
- • Stay ahead of digital trends—AI-generated content, Web3 storytelling, interactive newsletters—and pilot low-risk experiments that keep Fast Forward at the cutting edge of nonprofit marketing.
- • Serve as the internal evangelist for storytelling best practices, running workshops for portfolio founders on how to craft investor-ready pitch decks, donor-centric impact reports, and viral-ready launch announcements.
