📋 Description

• As a Content Marketing Specialist at Tailscale, you will transform product positioning and messaging into compelling content for a technical audience, directly supporting sales, product marketing, and growth initiatives. Your work will help position Tailscale as a thought leader in networking and security while driving awareness and adoption of its secure interconnectivity solutions.
• Day to day, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product marketing, web development, and design to create landing pages, case studies, white papers, blog posts, slide decks, ad copy, and one-pagers. You will deepen your expertise in user needs and pain points to produce purposeful content that supports the sales funnel and reinforces Tailscale’s market positioning.
• Tailscale is a fully remote, early-stage company founded in 2019, backed by top-tier investors including Accel, CRV, and Insight. The company is building a new Internet by making secure device interconnection simple and accessible for users ranging from hobbyists to multinational corporations. Marketing plays a critical role in translating complex technical value into clear, persuasive narratives.
• In this role, you will sharpen your ability to communicate highly technical subjects like networking, Kubernetes, and enterprise security to diverse audiences. You will gain end-to-end ownership of content creation, refine your collaboration skills across global teams, and contribute directly to brand authority and revenue growth in a fast-moving, innovative tech environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong writing background as a content writer with fluency in technical subjects like networking, Kubernetes, and enterprise technology
• Experience with B2B or enterprise technology companies, particularly those offering networking or security products in SaaS or cloud environments
• Proven track record collaborating with marketing, product marketing, sales enablement, or product management teams
• Impeccable writing and editing skills, with comfort in iterative feedback cycles
• Ability to adhere to content strategy, product messaging, and positioning while managing multiple work streams and stakeholders
• Experience with on-page SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) optimization
