- • Develop and revise print and electronic educational materials for Kaplan’s real estate product line, including textbooks, web-delivered courses, PowerPoint presentations, tests, forms, surveys, and instructional guides.
- • Collaborate with production teams, authors, technical personnel, and instructional designers to establish and maintain development schedules while ensuring all technical specifications are met for system delivery.
- • Adapt course content and learning assets for seamless delivery across both online and print platforms, maintaining accuracy and alignment with original product scope.
- • Work directly with subject-matter experts to write, organize, and edit curriculum content, ensuring compliance with multi-jurisdictional real estate regulations and industry standards.
- • Research and incorporate the most current and accurate data into product materials to ensure relevance and regulatory compliance in real estate education.
- • Proactively identify inefficiencies in content development processes and propose solutions that improve quality, reduce time-to-market, and enhance operational efficiency.
- • Utilize conditional logic to interpret and apply complex technical and jurisdictional requirements to build compliant educational products.
- • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a deadline-driven environment, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills to meet market demands.
- • Maintain high standards of written and verbal communication to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy across all deliverables.
- • Apply AI literacy skills, including prompt engineering and foundational understanding of LLM capabilities, to enhance content creation and editing workflows.
- • Ensure all materials meet established quality benchmarks and are delivered on time without compromising accuracy or regulatory compliance.
- • Contribute to the selection of optimal product design methods for real estate educational content based on research, audience needs, and technological capabilities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in English, communications, technical writing, instructional design, or related field OR 5 years equivalent experience
- • 2 years of experience in instructional design, technical writing, publishing, journalism, or related field
- • Excellent PC skills with extensive experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
- • Ability to use conditional logic to understand and apply complex technical and multi-jurisdictional requirements to a compliant product build
- • AI literacy, including proficiency in prompt engineering and a foundational understanding of LLM capabilities
- • Strong organization and time management skills to manage multiple concurrent projects in a deadline-driven environment
