  • • As a Content Producer, Securities at Kaplan, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of educational materials that support professionals preparing for securities industry certifications, directly impacting learner success and Kaplan’s reputation as a leader in financial education.
  • • You will partner with subject-matter experts and content managers to develop, edit, and maintain curriculum across print and digital formats—including online courses, textbooks, videos, and live classroom materials—ensuring all content aligns with industry standards, style guides, and project timelines through rigorous proofing workflows and version control.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include structuring and organizing content within Kaplan’s content management systems (such as Oxygen and Alfresco), updating materials for multi-platform delivery, adapting content for print, online, and live online classroom environments, and conducting QA reviews in collaboration with product management to ensure timely and accurate course releases.
  • • You will proactively identify process inefficiencies, recommend improvements to content workflows, troubleshoot content issues, and support special initiatives like documenting procedures and implementing new technologies (including GenAI tools) to enhance content quality and production speed.
  • • You will manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, balancing shifting priorities while maintaining high attention to detail and strong communication with cross-functional teams to meet client and stakeholder expectations.
  • • Working within Kaplan’s Securities product line, you will gain deep expertise in financial education content development, build proficiency in XML/DITA-based authoring systems, and strengthen project management and cross-functional collaboration skills—positioning you for growth in instructional design, content strategy, or educational technology roles.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Associates degree in English, journalism, communications, or related field OR 3 years of equivalent related experience
  • • 2+ years in publishing, journalism, technical editing, content development, or a related field; project management experience is a plus
  • • Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with demonstrated ability to create effective slide presentations
  • • Experience using content management systems is preferred; familiarity with DITA, XML, or Oxygen/Alfresco is a plus
  • • Strong English literacy skills including grammar, proofing, and editing; excellent written and verbal communication; highly detail-oriented with ability to ensure quality and consistency across content
