  • • As a Content Producer, Securities at Kaplan, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of educational materials within Kaplan’s securities product line, directly supporting the company’s mission to deliver best-in-class educational experiences that empower professionals to advance their careers.
  • • You will partner with subject-matter experts, content managers, and product teams to create, review, update, and maintain a wide range of print and digital learning assets—including online courses, textbooks, exams, videos, and live classroom materials—ensuring all content meets rigorous standards for accuracy, style, and timeliness.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include structuring and organizing content within Kaplan’s content management systems (such as Oxygen and Alfresco), adapting materials for multiple delivery platforms (print, online, live online), and implementing updates based on regulatory changes or client feedback.
  • • You will collaborate closely with product management on course builds and setup, conduct functionality and QA reviews, and troubleshoot content issues to ensure timely and accurate releases that meet client expectations and support long-term relationships.
  • • You will proactively identify inefficiencies in content workflows, recommend process improvements, and explore new technologies—including GenAI tools and XML/DITA architectures—to enhance content quality, reuse, and production speed.
  • • You will manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, supporting special initiatives such as documenting procedures, identifying process gaps, and improving content governance through version control and style-guide adherence.
  • • You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by seeking out innovative solutions that increase efficiency, maintain customer focus, and help bring products to market faster while upholding Kaplan’s commitment to excellence in education.
  • • Working within Kaplan’s Professional division, you’ll be part of a global team at the intersection of education and technology, where collaboration, innovation, and creativity are valued as key drivers of success in serving learners across the securities industry and beyond.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in educational content production, strengthen your project management and technical editing skills, and gain hands-on experience with modern content systems and emerging tools—positioning you for growth in instructional design, technical publishing, or product-focused content roles within education technology.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Associates degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field, OR 3+ years of equivalent related experience
  • • 2+ years of experience in publishing, journalism, technical editing, content development, or a related field, with project management experience considered a plus
  • • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including the ability to create effective slide presentations
  • • Experience using content management systems is preferred; familiarity with DITA, XML, or related content architectures is a plus
  • • Experience utilizing GenAI tools to assist in content development is preferred
  • • Strong English literacy skills, including proper grammar, for proofing and editing content; excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • • Highly detail-oriented with strong organization and time management skills to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • • Ability to interpret data and reports, solve problems proactively, and apply a customer-service-oriented approach
