📋 Description

• A Content & Social Media Specialist role supporting a U.S.-based university with content creation, editing, social media, and marketing support across departments, ideal for a strong storyteller and editor who can refine content across formats.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and editing content for social media, website pages, and marketing campaigns; editing faculty profiles and newsletter submissions; updating clinic-related website content; improving email campaign content for admissions and university initiatives; and making light image edits using Canva or similar tools.
• Workana Limited is hiring for this remote role to support a U.S.-based university, offering exposure to diverse marketing functions in a lean, fast-moving environment.
• The person in this role can develop skills in content strategy, cross-channel storytelling, AI-assisted content refinement, and stakeholder collaboration while making visible impact on university admissions, alumni engagement, and clinic services.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in content writing, editing, content marketing, social media, or a closely related role
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adjust tone and make content sound natural and polished
• Ability to work across original writing, content editing, and AI-assisted content refinement
• Good storytelling instincts and ability to turn interviews or raw input into clear, compelling content
• Experience supporting social media content creation and execution
• English proficiency sufficient for content work and collaboration with U.S.-based stakeholders
