đź“‹ Description

  • • Directive Consulting is a premier B2B performance marketing agency dedicated to driving tangible revenue growth for our clients, moving beyond mere lead generation to focus on pipeline acceleration and scaling brands committed to significant expansion.
  • • We employ a proprietary methodology called Customer Generation, designed to cut through market noise and deliver measurable business outcomes, fueling Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and scaling ambitious brands.
  • • Our expertise spans Paid Media, SEO, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Revenue Operations (RevOps), and Go-To-Market Strategy, enabling us to construct robust marketing engines that excel in the SaaS sector and across diverse B2B industries.
  • • We operate with agility, embrace bold thinking, and strive for elite performance, seeking individuals who challenge conventional approaches and elevate campaigns beyond expectations to spark demand for innovative brands.
  • • If you are driven by performance, thrive on solving complex challenges, and desire your work to have a meaningful impact, you will find a collaborative and results-oriented environment at Directive.
  • • This role, internally recognized as Account Strategist, Content & SEO, is a pivotal, client-facing position responsible for the day-to-day management of client deliverables and the creation and execution of bespoke client strategies.
  • • The Content Strategist will manage a portfolio of enterprise clients, requiring a profound understanding of their specific service lines and how these integrate with broader business objectives to formulate comprehensive marketing strategies.
  • • **Strategic Excellence and Best Practices:** You will be instrumental in developing and implementing custom client strategies that align with and achieve Net Sales Margin (NSM) goals, leveraging our established best practices.
  • • Your strategic approach will be informed by the project phase, but critically, will also incorporate clients' overarching marketing objectives, ongoing campaigns, and historical performance data to continuously optimize and refine strategies throughout the client lifecycle.
  • • You will collaborate closely with your Associate Director (AsD) to navigate and resolve any roadblocks that may impede strategy execution or goal attainment.
  • • A key responsibility is crafting compelling creative briefs and innovative content campaigns, driven by thorough competitor analysis and deep audience insights.
  • • Strategies will be grounded in industry best practices, including LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation principles, Share of SERP analysis, and effective Content Production methodologies, ensuring clients are optimally positioned for success.
  • • **Goal Setting:** You will utilize a range of data sources, including Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, and Ahrefs, to establish clear, measurable goals for each client engagement.
  • • All proposed goals will undergo review and approval by your Associate Director (AsD) prior to being presented to the client, often in joint meetings.
  • • **Project Management:** You will ensure the successful execution of planned strategies by meticulously managing projects and timelines.
  • • Proficiency in Asana is required for task delegation, tracking, and ensuring progress towards client objectives.
  • • This involves delegating tasks to internal team members, such as Specialists, as well as to client stakeholders, and diligently monitoring their timely completion.
  • • In pods with dedicated Project Managers, you will partner closely to ensure all tasks are created, assigned, due dates are met, and progress is clearly communicated to the client.
  • • You will work collaboratively with content writers and designers to ensure content campaigns are delivered on time and meet the high-quality standards expected by our clients.
  • • **Internal and External Communication:** As the primary liaison between clients and the Directive team, you will cultivate strong client relationships that extend beyond transactional deliverables.
  • • Building rapport on a human level is essential, positioning you as a trusted consultant for your clients' businesses.
  • • Proactive communication is paramount, involving regular updates to clients and internal leadership regarding progress, potential opportunities, and any significant account changes.
  • • This includes clearly communicating timeline expectations for deliverables, reporting on goal attainment progress, and utilizing shared communication channels like Slack for ongoing dialogue between bi-weekly meetings.
  • • Deliverables should be shared on a consistent cadence, not solely during scheduled meetings.
  • • Internally, you will communicate any roadblocks, identify opportunities for account growth, and flag any critical changes within client accounts, such as strategic shifts, internal client marketing adjustments, or changes in client points of contact.
  • • **Reporting:** You will be responsible for regularly reporting client progress and the impact of implemented strategies.
  • • This includes conducting bi-weekly client meetings to report on NSM progress and ongoing deliverables.
  • • You will also prepare and deliver monthly reports, quarterly reports, and two comprehensive bi-annual business review presentations.
  • • This role is critical in ensuring client satisfaction and driving measurable business results through strategic content and SEO initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven track record in implementing SEO principles and content strategy, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
  • • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • • Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to build and own relationships with key stakeholders.
  • • Deep familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and crawling tools like Screaming Frog.
  • • Demonstrated organizational, project, and time management expertise.
  • • Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content strategy.
  • • Agency experience is a mandatory requirement.
  • • Prior experience in B2B tech and/or SaaS industries is essential.
