- • Configure new projects in AutoCAD Electrical, including setup of project databases, symbol libraries, and drawing templates
- • Draft single-line diagrams (SLDs) and electrical one-line diagrams for critical minerals infrastructure
- • Develop schematic wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and instrument location plans to support detailed engineering design
- • Design cable tray and conduit routing layouts, grounding plans, and instrument index lists for industrial systems
- • Define technical requirements for third-party electrical equipment models, vendor schematics, and instrument datasheets to integrate into Mariana Minerals’ hosted AutoCAD Electrical environment
- • Establish specifications and deliverables for third-party EPC companies to complete detailed engineering tasks
- • Apply 2D drafting expertise to produce SLDs, schematics, loop drawings, and cable schedules
- • Utilize 3D modeling skills to layout cable tray routing, conduit systems, and precise instrument placement
- • Maintain and improve drafting and modeling workflows to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
- • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate conceptual designs into detailed, buildable electrical and instrumentation plans
- • Support the integration of vendor-provided technical documentation into standardized company design environments
- • Ensure all drawings and models comply with industry standards and internal design protocols
- • Contribute to the development of best practices for electrical and instrumentation documentation within the company’s software-first framework
- • Work remotely to support global mineral supply chain projects with autonomy and ownership over design deliverables
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience with AutoCAD Electrical
- • CAD admin experience
- • 2D drafting experience (SLDs, schematics, loop drawings, cable schedules, etc.)
- • 3D modeling experience (cable tray routing, conduit layout, instrument placement, etc.)
