This is a full-time, in-office position, requiring 40 hours per week, with a negotiable relocation package for the right candidate. This exciting opportunity is contingent upon contract award, offering a chance to be part of a dynamic team from the outset.
- • As a Contracts Manager, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive administration of a diverse portfolio of contracts, including but not limited to Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time and Materials (T&M), Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC), and Basic Ordering Agreements (BPA). Your expertise will span the entire contract lifecycle, from initial proposal stages through to final project close-out, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.
- • Your core responsibilities will involve meticulous contract administration, encompassing all facets of correspondence, documentation, performance evaluation, and financial reporting specifically tailored to government contracting environments. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all contractual obligations are met with precision and adherence to regulatory frameworks.
- • A key aspect of this role is active participation in contract negotiations. You will engage in discussions and deliberations regarding contract terms and conditions, from the initial proposal phase where bids are formulated, through to the final stages of project completion. This requires a keen understanding of contractual nuances and the ability to advocate for the company's interests while maintaining collaborative relationships.
- • You will be responsible for administering contract awards and subsequent modifications, ensuring strict compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and any other relevant governmental or commercial regulations. This involves a deep understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape governing government contracts.
- • In addition to direct contract administration, you may contribute to the preparation of proposals. This includes assisting with pricing strategies, developing project schedules, and coordinating the various requirements necessary to submit compelling and compliant bids. Your input will be crucial in shaping our competitive edge.
- • You will also be tasked with preparing essential legal agreements such as Consulting Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Teaming Agreements. These documents are vital for establishing clear understandings and protecting the company's intellectual property and strategic partnerships.
- • Ensuring the timely submission and processing of technical reports and deliverables is paramount. You will monitor progress, facilitate communication between teams, and ensure that all contractual deadlines for reports and project outputs are met without fail.
- • This role offers the opportunity to engage in special projects as required, providing exposure to diverse business challenges and strategic initiatives. You will be a valuable contributor to cross-functional teams, tackling unique problems and driving innovative solutions.
- • You will serve as a primary point of contact, interfacing with multiple levels of operations personnel and administrative staff. Your ability to clearly communicate contract-related issues, explain requirements, and facilitate necessary actions will be critical for smooth project execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
- • Proactive tracking and monitoring of task execution are essential. You will maintain oversight of ongoing activities, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track and within scope.
- • While the primary duties are focused on contract management, you may be required to perform other related tasks to meet the evolving needs of the organization, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the company's success.
- • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite is a must, with a strong emphasis on advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial tracking, and Word for document creation and management. These tools are fundamental to your daily operations.
- • You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the contracts team by assisting with training and mentoring junior members, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
- • The physical demands of this role are typical for an office environment. You will occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, use standard office tools, and navigate stairs. Effective communication with colleagues and leadership is essential. Occasional lifting of office supplies up to 25 pounds may be necessary.
