📋 Description

• The Contracts Manager at Rocket Companies, Inc. plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization by drafting, negotiating, and managing software licensing agreements and related contracts, ensuring deal velocity while maintaining legal and compliance standards.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the full contract lifecycle—from request and review through negotiation and execution—reviewing and redlining software licensing, partner, MSA, and NDA agreements, assessing contractual risks, coordinating with legal counsel, maintaining accurate contract records, and providing legal support responses across the organization.
• The role operates within Rocket’s dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with sales, sales operations, procurement, finance, and legal teams to support business objectives with integrity, autonomy, and sound judgment.
• This position offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in software contracts, licensing models, and commercial negotiations while building cross-functional influence and advancing skills in risk assessment, contract management, and business alignment within a growing technology enterprise.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in technology sales, licensing, procurement, or related distributor, reseller, cloud computing, or software product and services agreements
• BA/BS degree in a related field (e.g., business, legal studies, or similar)
• Strong understanding of software contracts, licensing models, service agreements, and familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office applications
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex contracts simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach to analyzing legal language
