- • As a Controller at Kruze Consulting, you will play a critical role in managing the financial health and reporting for 15 to 20 venture-backed startup clients across diverse industries such as SaaS, biotech, crypto, and eCommerce. This role ensures accurate financial operations, compliance, and strategic insight delivery in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
- • Day to day, you will prepare and analyze financial statements, oversee month-end close, maintain general ledger integrity, build client relationships as their primary financial point of contact, provide due diligence support for fundraising and M&A, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting required
- • 8+ years of corporate accounting experience
- • Solid experience with QuickBooks Online (certification a plus)
- • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (MS Excel and Google Sheets)
- • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- • Meticulous attention to detail – able to follow through/execute on a high volume of nuanced tasks
