📋 Description

• Lead and scale Solink’s global accounting function to support hyper-growth of 50%+ year-over-year and future revenue milestones.
• Architect and own the full NetSuite reimplementation project, spanning 12–18 months, as part of a broader finance systems transformation.
• Oversee critical transitions of billing, payroll, and HRIS systems including Salesforce, ADP Workforce Now, and Hibob.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS 15 and prepare for IFRS 18 adoption across a global SaaS revenue model.
• Own and evolve global revenue recognition frameworks for multi-jurisdictional operations in Canada, the US, and the UK.
• Lead global corporate and sales tax strategy across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal tax positioning.
• Operate as a manager of managers, leading the Accounting, Billing, and Payroll teams with clear organizational structure and role definition.
• Build and evolve the accounting organization’s structure, capabilities, and talent pipeline to support future growth.
• Drive cross-functional alignment to improve data quality, upstream inputs, and financial reporting accuracy.
• Establish scalable accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting standards aligned with enterprise-grade audit readiness.
• Automate and standardize key accounting workflows to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
• Elevate month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate, and audit-ready financial reporting.
• Partner directly with the CFO and executive team to translate business strategy into scalable financial infrastructure.
• Support strategic initiatives including potential M&A activity, international market expansion, and new product line financial modeling.
• Act as a builder who creates structure where none exists, designing systems and teams for future states—not maintaining current operations.
• Operate at both strategic and tactical levels, balancing high-level financial planning with hands-on execution.
• Develop and mentor high-performing accounting teams with a focus on growth, accountability, and professional development.
• Ensure minimal audit findings through robust internal controls, documentation, and compliance frameworks.
• Deliver forward-looking financial insights that enable executive decision-making and strategic planning.
• Uphold Solink’s values of urgency, quality, teamwork, and trust in all accounting and finance operations.
• Comply with Solink’s security policies and standards, including undergoing a criminal records check upon hire.
• Maintain eligibility to work in Canada as a Canadian citizen or eligible permanent resident.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, including senior leadership roles as Controller, Head of Accounting, or equivalent
• Proven experience scaling accounting functions in high-growth companies through key inflection points
• Hands-on leadership experience with ERP implementations, specifically NetSuite
• Deep technical expertise in IFRS 15 and exposure to IFRS 18
• Experience managing multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional accounting and tax compliance across Canada, US, and UK
• Builder mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and designing systems for future scalability
