• • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller, or a Senior Staff Accountant with extensive experience, to spearhead our accounting operations across a dynamic, multi-entity platform. This is a pivotal, hands-on role that demands a proactive approach to managing critical accounting functions, including the monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating treasury activities, and developing highly scalable accounting processes to adeptly support our rapidly growing portfolio of businesses.
• • WHAT YOU’LL OWN:
• • ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS:
• • Lead and meticulously manage the monthly accounting close process, with a clear objective to achieve a consistent 5-day business day close. This involves overseeing all aspects of financial statement preparation, journal entry posting, and account reconciliations.
• • Take charge of multi-entity accounting, ensuring the accurate recording and reconciliation of all intercompany transactions. This includes establishing clear policies and procedures for intercompany accounting to maintain financial integrity across the group.
• • Oversee and manage relationships with outsourced bookkeeping and tax vendors. This role will also involve evaluating the potential for internalizing these functions to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and direct control over critical accounting processes.
• • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of payroll, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) functions across all Business Units (BUs) and the parent Infinity Constellation entity. This includes implementing robust internal controls and review processes.
• • TREASURY & CASH MANAGEMENT:
• • Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance to develop and maintain accurate cash flow forecasts, providing critical insights into the company's liquidity position.
• • Manage and optimize treasury processes, leveraging platforms such as SVB, Meow, Wise, and Ramp to ensure efficient and secure management of company funds and capital movements.
• • Monitor and control capital movements across all entities within the group, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• • COMPLIANCE & CONTROLS:
• • Oversee all aspects of external audit processes, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring the timely provision of requested information.
• • Ensure strict adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in all financial reporting and accounting practices.
• • Partner effectively with external tax and audit vendors, managing these relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance.
• • Design, implement, and maintain scalable internal controls to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• • Own and manage Infinity Constellation’s relationships with all tax and external accounting vendors, serving as the primary liaison and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• • PROCESS & SYSTEMS:
• • Optimize the current QuickBooks environment, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.
• • Contribute to defining the long-term accounting system roadmap, evaluating potential new systems or upgrades to support future growth and evolving business needs.
• • Drive improvements in reporting automation and accuracy, leveraging technology and process enhancements to provide timely and reliable financial insights to stakeholders.
