📋 Description

• As Chief Operating Officer at Luopay S.A., you will be responsible for building and maintaining operational excellence across the entire company, ensuring seamless coordination between payments execution, treasury, customer support, and compliance functions.
• You will oversee day-to-day operations at scale, drive major operational improvements, lead initiatives to automate and scale workflows, and ensure high standards of accuracy, reliability, and speed across all processes.
• Luo is one of the fastest-growing FX and cross-border payments companies in Africa, helping African businesses pay international suppliers faster, more transparently, and competitively, with a strong presence in West and Central Africa and a focus on scaling operational excellence.
• You will work closely with the founders to define company strategy and priorities, execute key projects, structure the company for scale, and bring structure to decision-making and execution at the company level while developing leadership in high-impact, fast-growing fintech environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in operations leadership, ideally in fintech, payments, or financial services
• Proven track record of building and scaling operational systems in fast-growing environments
• Ability to manage multiple functions (ops, support, compliance, treasury) simultaneously
• Strong execution mindset: able to go from strategy to implementation
• Highly organized, structured, and detail-oriented
