📋 Description

• Build the future of offensive security with XBOW by designing and implementing scalable, secure infrastructure that powers AI-driven vulnerability discovery and exploitation systems.
• Design and implement infrastructure systems that scale reliably and securely across multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI) and deployment contexts (SaaS, on-prem).
• Tune and optimize cloud services across compute, storage, networking, and observability to ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability of core services.
• Develop core services in TypeScript, Kotlin, and Go, supporting unique deployment and infrastructure requirements while learning new technologies as needed.
• Support large-scale systems with event-driven architectures using tools like Kafka and message queues.
• Own problems end-to-end—from design through deployment to production support—while navigating ambiguity and helping define engineering practices.
• Partner closely with engineers, AI researchers, and security researchers to enable high-velocity, high-quality product development.
• Design for resilience by implementing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure uptime during failures.
• Improve how the team builds, deploys, and monitors services at scale through infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, CDK) and observability.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building and operating scalable, distributed systems on cloud infrastructure such as AWS or similar.
• Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Comfortable working with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK) and viewing infrastructure as part of the engineering system.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, or async workflows (e.g., Kafka).
• A track record of performance tuning across cloud services, databases, and compute layers.
• Eager to learn new tools, languages, and technologies as needed.
• Thoughtful communicator who values clarity and simplicity, comfortable in fast-paced startup environments and navigating ambiguity.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work with incomplete information.
• Curious, practical, and eager to work across layers of the stack when needed.
• Proactive about failure modes with experience implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
