- • The Core Processing Team Lead plays a key role in evaluating complex and escalated credit decisions across Navient’s lending products, combining deep credit expertise with operational leadership to strengthen processes and improve decision quality.
- • Day to day, the role involves independently assessing loan applications, exercising decision authority for complex credit cases, managing escalations, leading policy and process improvements, driving cross-functional projects, analyzing team performance against SLAs, and troubleshooting system issues by providing data-driven feedback to product and engineering partners.
- • Navient is a trusted provider of education financing and loan servicing, helping students and families manage the cost of higher education through responsible lending, refinancing, servicing oversight, and portfolio management expertise, with a culture focused on belonging, employee wellbeing, and meaningful outcomes.
