- • Manage monthly accounting operations for the parent Crete PA Holdco entity, including master bank account reconciliation using sweep/ZBA functionality, fixed asset accounting, prepaid accounting, and P&L review.
- • Own the corporate expense allocation process, including designing and maintaining allocation methodologies, preparing supporting schedules, and performing monthly true-ups across multiple entities.
- • Oversee cash activity across a large number of subsidiaries in a cash sweep/ZBA environment, managing intercompany funding flows and performing related reconciliations.
- • Prepare and post payroll-related general ledger entries derived from the UKG system and conduct payroll cost analysis, reporting, and variance explanations to support the monthly close and business partners.
- • Manage the monthly insurance expense allocation process, ensuring accurate distribution of costs across subsidiaries.
- • Assist the Director of Technical Accounting with monthly debt and interest journal entries, including accurate recording and compliance with financial reporting standards.
- • Maintain and update the consolidated deferred seller note schedule, and independently calculate and record monthly interest entries.
- • Manage the consolidated earnout schedule, performing accurate monthly interest entries in alignment with acquisition agreements.
- • Support the monthly consolidation workbook by assisting with intercompany eliminations and ensuring accuracy across entity-level financials.
- • Assist in maintaining and refining both firm-level and consolidated cash flow models to support financial planning and analysis.
- • Prepare and review recurring and non-recurring monthly journal entries to ensure completeness and compliance with GAAP.
- • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and implement best practices to support the company’s rapid growth and scaling operations.
- • Assist with ad hoc projects including opening balance sheet setup for new acquisitions, technical accounting research, firm-level labor cost analyses, special report generation, model building, and gross profit analyses.
- • Collaborate closely with the accounting team and technical accounting director to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across a multi-entity structure.
- • Maintain professional communication and documentation standards in all accounting activities, with emphasis on clarity, precision, and audit readiness.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities, meeting strict monthly deadlines in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- • Apply strong conceptual thinking to identify root causes of accounting discrepancies and resolve issues with sound judgment and discretion.
- • Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and customer-service orientation when interacting with internal stakeholders across departments and regional offices.
