- • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, defining where OnePay should compete and why in the rapidly evolving fintech landscape
- • Identify emerging trends in fintech, AI, and consumer behavior and translate them into concrete strategic bets, product priorities, and testable experiments
- • Develop evaluation frameworks and financial models to assess the viability of build, buy, or partner opportunities across banking, savings, credit, lending, investing, and crypto
- • Define prioritization criteria that guide product and business development decisions, ensuring alignment with company goals and resource constraints
- • Own end-to-end execution of high-visibility strategic initiatives, from scoping and cross-functional coordination to measurement and impact assessment
- • Synthesize competitive intelligence, regulatory signals, and industry trends into actionable recommendations for the executive team
- • Craft compelling, data-driven narratives for leadership and board-level presentations, distilling complex insights into clear strategic direction
- • Lead external positioning efforts by developing industry perspectives, research outputs, and key thought leadership conversations that elevate OnePay’s market profile
- • Leverage AI tools aggressively to accelerate analysis, expand strategic thinking, and enhance output quality across all strategic deliverables
- • Act as a bridge between product, engineering, finance, and partnerships teams to ensure strategic initiatives are operationalized effectively and efficiently
- • Maintain a deep understanding of OnePay’s embedded financial services ecosystem and how it integrates with employers, HCM providers, and gig platforms
- • Drive clarity and urgency in ambiguous environments, turning incomplete information into decisive strategic actions without waiting for perfect data
- • Balance long-term vision with immediate execution needs, ensuring strategic roadmap remains responsive to market dynamics and customer feedback
- • Contribute to corporate positioning through external communications, speaking engagements, and industry research that reinforce OnePay’s category-defining ambition
- • Operate with low ego, high ownership, and a bias toward action in a fast-moving environment where speed and impact are paramount
- • Partner closely with product and business development teams to ensure strategic initiatives are grounded in customer needs and market realities
