📋 Description

• • As Counsel - Litigation at Kraken, you will own and manage a high-volume docket of consumer arbitrations, small claims, federal and state litigation, and customer complaints across U.S. jurisdictions from intake through resolution, playing a critical role in defending the company’s legal interests while supporting its mission to accelerate global crypto adoption.
• • Day to day, you will draft and file pleadings, motions, case strategy memos, demand responses, and settlement correspondence with minimal supervision; assess claims at intake, evaluate exposure, recommend resolution strategies, and execute toward resolution; coordinate with Customer Engagement, Compliance, Product, and Operations to identify upstream drivers of disputes; maintain accurate matter records; supervise outside counsel; and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
• • You will join Payward’s Litigation team, a lean, execution-oriented group managing one of the most complex and high-volume global dockets in the crypto industry, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel and Head of Litigation, and working closely with the AGC and Head of U.S. Litigation Programs to support accessible, trusted financial services for millions of customers.
