- • As the Country Director for India at Coinbase, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the company's overarching strategy and driving business performance within the region. - • You will be responsible for defining and implementing a comprehensive country strategy, meticulously identifying high-impact growth opportunities through rigorous market, regulatory, and competitive analysis. This strategic foresight will be crucial in adapting Coinbase's global mission to the unique Indian landscape.
- • A core aspect of your role will involve close collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to tailor and launch products that resonate with the Indian user base, ensuring strong product-market fit while strictly adhering to all regulatory constraints.
- • You will lead cross-functional execution across Marketing, Business Development, Legal, Compliance, and Policy. This involves orchestrating the delivery of India-specific initiatives with agility, while proactively managing risks associated with an evolving regulatory roadmap. A keen awareness of potential penalties within the Digital Currency Exchange (DCE) space in India is paramount, and you will be expected to develop robust strategies to mitigate these risks.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience (e.g., CEO, COO, GM, Founder) in platform, e-commerce, fintech, or trading businesses in India, with demonstrable impact on revenue and/or active users.
- • Deep understanding of the Indian regulated financial services ecosystem, including experience operating under regulatory oversight and engaging with regulators and policy stakeholders.
- • Proven track record of partnering with Product, Marketing, and Business Development to build, launch, and scale products in regulated environments.
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external audiences.
- • Strong interest in crypto and blockchain, with curiosity and conviction about the space’s future.
