  • • Overhaul Jerry.ai’s entire customer communication ecosystem, including CRM, email, SMS, and in-app copy, transitioning messaging from transactional and functional to emotionally resonant and relationship-driven.
  • • Define and establish Jerry’s brand voice and tone from the ground up in partnership with the CEO, with no existing playbook or inherited style guide.
  • • Craft compelling, human-centered copy for high-stakes, emotionally charged topics such as car insurance, repairs, loans, and safety — transforming dry, stressful subjects into accessible, engaging narratives.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Insights teams to deeply understand user pain points and translate qualitative feedback into empathetic, conversion-driven messaging.
  • • Own the end-to-end creation of lifecycle campaigns designed to increase trust, engagement, and long-term customer retention through organic channels.
  • • Evolve beyond lifecycle communications to produce organic growth content including social media posts, community engagement (e.g., Reddit), and feature launch narratives that cultivate brand affinity.
  • • Champion the unquantifiable value of brand experience against data-first teams, using first-principles thinking to defend emotional resonance as a core driver of customer loyalty.
  • • Conduct audience research and analyze community dynamics to ensure messaging aligns with real customer behaviors, sentiments, and cultural context across digital platforms.
  • • Maintain a relentless focus on the precision of every word, ensuring clarity, empathy, and personality in all customer-facing copy regardless of channel or format.
  • • Build and evolve Jerry’s brand identity as the voice of a super app serving over 5 million car owners, making car ownership feel less isolating and more supported.
  • • Work autonomously as an individual contributor with no direct reports, but with high strategic influence across the organization.
  • • Balance creative intuition with operational rigor, using data to inform but not dictate the emotional direction of messaging.
  • • Be the primary architect of how Jerry.ai speaks to its customers — shaping not just what is said, but how it makes customers feel throughout their entire ownership journey.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in creative marketing with a focus on organic growth and copywriting
  • • Proven track record crafting messaging for organic channels such as email, SMS, and social media
  • • Portfolio showcasing writing and creative craft across consumer brands, particularly in complex or low-engagement industries
  • • Strong understanding of community dynamics and social platforms like Reddit
  • • Bachelor's Degree
  • • Experience working with data-driven, analytical teams while advocating for brand and emotional experience
