Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As the Creative Lead at Ben Technologies Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping and amplifying our brand's visual identity across all platforms and customer touchpoints. This is a pivotal role where you will not only define the creative strategy but also execute it with precision and flair, ensuring Ben stands out in a competitive B2B SaaS market.
  • • You will be responsible for evolving our visual language, encompassing typography, colour palettes, illustration styles, photography, and motion graphics, to effectively communicate our brand as we scale into enterprise markets. This involves building upon our existing design system, ensuring its scalability and consistency across all applications.
  • • A key part of your role will be to design and continuously iterate on our website, transforming complex ideas into simple, engaging visuals that resonate with our audience and drive conversions. Your work will be crucial in making our online presence both fresh and highly effective.
  • • You will own and lead high-impact creative projects from conception to completion. This includes developing compelling campaign work, designing assets for product launches, creating engaging materials for events, and producing work that captures attention and is remembered by our target audience.
  • • You will take the lead on the visual direction for our video and podcast content. This involves storyboarding, planning shoots, overseeing filming, editing, and packaging final content for distribution across various social media channels, ensuring a cohesive brand experience.
  • • A significant responsibility will be to create impactful materials that support our sales efforts on the biggest stages. This includes designing sophisticated pitch decks, concise one-pagers, compelling case studies, and branded merchandise (swag). Your ability to translate complex messaging into visually persuasive assets will be key to building trust with enterprise buyers.
  • • You will maintain and enhance our established design system, which includes defining and documenting components, styles, motion principles, and usage guidelines. This system will serve as the foundation for consistent and scalable design across the organization.
  • • This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with our content, product marketing, and growth marketing managers. While you will work in partnership with these teams, the ultimate ownership and strategic direction for all brand-related creative initiatives will rest with you, supported by agency partners when necessary.
  • • You will be expected to bring a proactive and self-starting approach to your work. This involves being organised, pragmatic, and comfortable navigating ambiguity to find solutions and drive projects forward.
  • • A high level of attention to detail is paramount, coupled with a deep understanding of current design best practices and emerging trends. You will be expected to apply this knowledge to ensure the quality and effectiveness of all creative output.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, enabling them to clearly present their work, provide and receive constructive feedback, and effectively bring stakeholders along with their creative vision.
  • • You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where action is prioritised, even when the path forward is not perfectly clear. This role demands accountability for outcomes, with the expectation that you will own projects end-to-end and be responsible for their successful delivery at a high standard.
  • • We are looking for someone who is not afraid to challenge assumptions and push for better ways of working, rather than maintaining the status quo. This role is for an innovator who enjoys creating processes and defining boundaries in a growing organization.
  • • You will be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and will not expect prescriptive direction. While support and context will be provided, you will need to take ownership and figure things out independently.
  • • Proactivity is key; we seek individuals who step up, take initiative, and do not wait to be told what to do. This is a high-performance, high-reward environment that values individuals who drive progress.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of design experience, with a strong focus on brand and marketing design, ideally within B2B SaaS or high-growth tech businesses.
  • • A standout portfolio showcasing creative range across digital, campaigns, web, and storytelling. Experience with motion/video is a significant advantage.
  • • Strong foundational design skills, including typography, layout, composition, and art direction.
  • • Proven experience in systems thinking, having built or significantly contributed to scalable design systems, templates, or brand toolkits.
  • • Proficiency in key design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and video/motion software (e.g., Premiere, After Effects).
  • • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present work clearly and collaborate effectively.
  • • A self-starter mentality with strong organisational skills, pragmatism, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

🏖 Benefits

  • • Competitive base salary and equity ownership, allowing you to benefit from the company's growth.
  • • ÂŁ100 monthly personal Ben Balance, increasing by ÂŁ50 annually up to ÂŁ250, for personal use on subscriptions or lifestyle choices.
  • • Weekly catered lunches in the office to foster team connection and enjoyment.
  • • Generous holiday allowance starting at 28 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days after 3 years of service.
  • • A paid day off for your birthday to celebrate your special day.
  • • Work-from-abroad scheme to support travel and extended holidays.
  • • Enhanced parental leave and a workplace nursery scheme to assist with childcare costs.
  • • Comprehensive Private Medical Insurance for your health and well-being.
  • • Funded Life Assurance cover with the option to increase coverage, including an annual health check.
  • • Access to comprehensive and tailored mental health support and professional coaching through a leading provider.
