📋 Description
- • Lead copy direction across brand and growth channels, including campaigns, product launches, and strategic initiatives, ensuring Kin’s voice is consistently clear, credible, and human
- • Define, evolve, and steward Kin’s brand voice, tone, and messaging frameworks across all customer communications and touchpoints
- • Develop and execute a data-driven learning process that uses campaign performance metrics to iteratively refine messaging for maximum impact
- • Integrate AI tools into creative workflows to accelerate execution while preserving space for human-centered, strategic thinking
- • Partner with product, editorial, SEO, design, channel managers, and senior leaders to create emotionally resonant, campaign-level creative concepts aligned with brand standards
- • Translate marketing and business priorities into compelling creative strategies rooted in core customer insights
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain messaging clarity, consistency, and quality across all channels and departments
- • Uplevel the overall creative quality of marketing output by bringing a growth mindset, intentionality, and efficiency to every project
- • Ensure brand and growth campaigns reflect a cohesive, unified point of view with copy that is sharper, more human, and more effective than prior iterations
- • Balance strategic creative leadership with hands-on execution, producing high-quality copy across multiple formats and channels
- • Serve as a trusted creative counterpart to non-creative teams, providing clarity, craft, and direction that elevates cross-functional work
- • Drive measurable improvement in campaign performance through iterative testing, data analysis, and creative refinement
- • Maintain alignment between brand identity and performance objectives, ensuring messaging supports both customer trust and business growth
- • Champion a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and learning by continuously asking ‘What if?’ and basing decisions on data rather than assumptions
- • Operate with lean efficiency, prioritizing high-impact work and using technology to multiply creative output without sacrificing quality
- • Foster collaboration by enabling cross-functional partners to do their best work through clear communication, empathy, and shared ownership
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of copywriting and creative leadership experience across brand and growth work, in-house and/or at an agency
- • Portfolio demonstrating campaign-level thinking, voice development, and writing craft across multiple formats and channels
- • Experience using campaign performance data to iterate and improve messaging outcomes over time
- • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across product, design, SEO, editorial, and marketing teams
- • Proven track record of balancing strategic leadership with hands-on creative execution
- • Clear, defensible point of view on what makes creative work effective, with ability to articulate it to both creative and non-creative audiences
