• • As a Credit Analyst at Pear Tree, you will be the cornerstone of our client's innovative, tech-forward mortgage brokerage, playing a pivotal role in their mission to revolutionize the lending experience through a seamless, paperless approach. This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the intricacies of residential mortgage scenarios, leveraging a sophisticated tech stack and deep understanding of lender policies to drive successful and rapid loan approvals.
• • Your primary responsibility will involve conducting meticulous residential scenario analysis. This includes performing precise servicing calculations using industry-leading tools such as Quickli, alongside lender-specific platforms. The goal is to accurately determine the borrowing capacity for residential clients, navigating the diverse offerings of a panel comprising over 20 lenders. This analytical rigor ensures that every client's financial potential is fully understood and optimized.
• • You will be instrumental in preparing high-quality preliminary assessments and Credit Proposal Disclosure (CPD) documents. These documents are critical for outlining loan structures and ensuring alignment with client objectives, all while strictly adhering to Best Interest Duty (BID) standards. Your ability to translate complex financial data into clear, compliant proposals will be key to client confidence and regulatory adherence.
• • Data integrity and efficient submissions are paramount. You will meticulously manage the end-to-end data flow within ApplyOnline (NextGen) and Loanapp (Simpology). This involves ensuring 100% accuracy and consistency between the client's initial fact-find information and the data entered into the lender's portal, minimizing errors and streamlining the approval process.
• • Effective workflow and pipeline management are essential for success. You will utilize Nexus CRM, or a similar robust system, to diligently track application milestones, manage comprehensive documentation checklists, and proactively identify and address potential roadblocks. Your foresight in minimizing lender "More Info" requests will significantly expedite the loan approval timeline.
• • A crucial aspect of your role will be compliance oversight. You will be responsible for executing internal audits on all submitted files. This rigorous review process ensures that every application meets the firm’s exceptionally high standards for quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance, safeguarding both the client and the brokerage.
• • Beyond these core responsibilities, you will act as a critical analytical resource, anticipating lender requirements and identifying optimal financing pathways for complex client situations before they are explicitly requested.
