• • As a Credit Risk Manager at Real, you will be instrumental in establishing and scaling the analytical foundation for Real Wallet Capital, our innovative line of credit designed specifically for real estate agents. This is a unique opportunity to build a critical function from the ground up, moving beyond maintenance to actively shape a high-growth lending business.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to own the credit analytics framework. This involves translating raw, complex data into robust risk policies, sophisticated pricing strategies, and accurate loss forecasting models. You will be the architect of our credit risk engine, ensuring the sustainable growth of our financial products.
• • A key aspect of this role is developing and owning the analytical framework for credit risk. This includes the creation and implementation of underwriting models that assess applicant creditworthiness, the development of loss forecasting models to predict potential financial shortfalls, and the precise definition of credit policies that govern lending practices. You will leverage your expertise in SQL and Python to build these essential components.
• • You will be tasked with diligently monitoring the health of our credit portfolio. This involves constructing comprehensive dashboards using tools such as Sigma, Looker, or similar platforms. These dashboards will provide critical insights into repayment behaviors, track vintage performance over time, analyze delinquency roll rates, and monitor key unit economics, enabling proactive risk management.
• • Driving strategy and optimization will be a core function. You will conduct in-depth analyses of product performance, identifying trends and patterns that inform data-backed recommendations for product design enhancements. The goal is to maximize funding availability for our agents while rigorously protecting the company from undue downside risk.
• • You will play a leading role in new product analysis. This entails conducting thorough assessments of market segments, evaluating diverse risk profiles, and providing analytical support to help design and launch future financial products tailored to the needs of real estate agents.
• • Innovation and automation are encouraged. You will be expected to leverage cutting-edge AI tools, such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot, to significantly accelerate code generation and the discovery of critical insights. The aim is to transition our risk processes from manual reviews to fully automated decisioning systems, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
