📋 Description

• The Cross-Functional Integration Lead is responsible for designing and governing enterprise-wide integration patterns and runtime platforms that connect critical systems across Independence Pet Group’s ecosystem, including Dynamics 365, insurance core platforms, Databricks-based Customer 360, CDP, contact center, marketing, payment systems, and agentic AI surfaces.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing API and event-driven integration standards (REST, async messaging, webhooks), managing Azure Integration Services (API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Functions, Power Automate), ensuring secure and scalable integration delivery, leading integration teams, and collaborating with functional, technical, and business stakeholders to align integration architecture with enterprise goals.
• Independence Pet Group is a fast-growing corporate holding company managing a diverse portfolio of modern pet health brands and services across North America, operating with a full-stack approach to support pet parents through insurance, education, lost recovery, and more, leveraging multi-brand and omni-channel strategies.
• In this role, the individual will gain deep expertise in enterprise integration architecture at scale, lead cross-functional technical teams, shape governance for AI-enabled workflows, and advance their leadership in regulated industries while contributing to the digital transformation of pet health services.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of enterprise software engineering and integration architecture experience, with 5+ years at Lead/Principal/Architect level
• Deep hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services: API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and identity/secrets management (Managed Identity, Key Vault, OAuth)
• Proven experience integrating Dynamics 365 (CE and F&O) with insurance core systems, Databricks data lakes, CDPs, and payment/tax engines
• Strong API and event-driven design skills including REST, async messaging, webhooks, schema versioning, and idempotency
• Experience operating integration platforms in regulated environments, preferably in insurance or financial services
• Demonstrated ability to lead integration delivery across functional, technical, data, and vendor teams with strong stakeholder communication skills
