Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Architect and deliver next-generation web interfaces for MujinController, the platform that orchestrates thousands of industrial robots in real time. Your code will be the visual gateway through which global supply-chain giants monitor, configure, and debug fully autonomous operations.
- • Own the full lifecycle of React + TypeScript applications that render millisecond-accurate digital twins of robot cells. You will translate low-latency sensor data into intuitive 3-D dashboards, heat-maps, and control panels that operators trust with billion-dollar logistics lines.
- • Design and maintain a component library that unifies look, feel, and accessibility across Mujin’s product suite. Every button, chart, and animation you ship will be reused by teams in Tokyo, Atlanta, Shanghai, and Munich, accelerating feature delivery and brand consistency.
- • Champion performance budgets and ruthless optimization: tree-shake bundles, lazy-load heavy visualizations, and leverage WebGL, Web Workers, and WebAssembly to keep 60 fps on tablets mounted inside refrigerated warehouses.
- • Establish and evangelize frontend quality gates—unit tests with Jest/Testing-Library, visual regression suites, and automated a11y audits—so that releases can be pushed daily without downtime on customer sites running 24/7.
- • Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, architecture reviews, and lunch-and-learn sessions. Your guidance will level-up the team’s collective mastery of modern web standards, ensuring Mujin stays two steps ahead of the industry.
- • Collaborate tightly with UX designers, robotics engineers, and product managers in bilingual (EN/JP) sprints. You will turn Figma prototypes into pixel-perfect, responsive layouts and feed performance constraints back to design before a single line of backend code is locked.
- • Experiment fearlessly: prototype Figma plugins that auto-generate React components, spike GraphQL schemas to halve payload sizes, or embed Rust-compiled WASM modules for real-time path-planning previews. If it moves the frontier of industrial UX, you have license to build it.
- • Contribute to open-source projects and publish technical blogs that showcase Mujin’s thought leadership. Your work will be seen by the global robotics and web-performance communities, attracting top talent to the team.
- • Relish the rare thrill of walking into a customer warehouse and watching your UI guide robots that pick, pack, and palletize at superhuman speed. Your impact is tangible, measurable, and celebrated on three continents.
