• • Join Token Metrics Ventures LLC as a Crypto Investment Analyst Intern and become the eyes and ears of our Web3 investment team. Over an intensive three-month remote program based in Cape Town, you will hunt for the next breakout DAO, infrastructure protocol, or vertical-specific (entertainment, IoT, gaming) token before the market catches on.
• • You will own the full deal-flow funnel: scouring on-chain data, Discord channels, Twitter threads, hackathons, and global crypto conferences to surface pre-seed to Series A opportunities. Once a project is on your radar, you will run rigorous due-diligence—tokenomics stress-tests, competitive mapping, TAM sizing, unit-economics modelling, and defensibility scoring—then package your findings into institutional-grade research reports that our portfolio managers, media arm, and 50-country subscriber base rely on.
• • Communication is currency here. You will translate complex on-chain metrics and white-paper jargon into crisp PowerPoint decks, Twitter threads, and YouTube explainers. Expect to host quarterly AMAs and podcasts on Token Metrics TV where you grill founders, update the community on portfolio performance, and debate thesis pivots in real time.
• • Collaboration is global and asynchronous. You will sync daily with our AI-ranking squad, token-data engineers, and content producers to ensure every insight is battle-tested and every narrative is data-driven. Your calendar will include virtual stand-ups, deep-dive brainstorming sessions, and occasional late-night Twitter Spaces to capture breaking alpha.
• • Beyond sourcing deals, you will monitor live positions—tracking KPI dashboards, governance votes, and macro catalysts—then flag risk or re-allocation triggers to senior analysts. Your post-mortems on both wins and misses will feed directly into Token Metrics’ evolving investment framework.

� Requirements

• • Bachelor’s degree (current students welcome) in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
• • Demonstrable crypto-native experience: active wallet history, DAO participation, or published token research
• • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint / Google Slides and Excel / Google Sheets for financial modelling and data visualization
• • Strong written and spoken English; comfortable presenting to both technical and retail audiences
• • Self-starter mindset with proven ability to manage multiple research streams in a remote-first, fast-paced environment
