� Description

• • Own the end-to-end quality strategy for a fast-growing crypto analytics platform that serves 50+ countries and powers the decisions of retail investors, professional traders, and fund managers alike. You will define what “quality” means for AI-driven indices, real-time price predictions, and portfolio-ranking engines that move millions of dollars in daily volume.
• • Lead a distributed QA team across multiple time-zones, coaching engineers on test design, automation patterns, and risk-based testing while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will be measured not only by defect leakage rates but by how quickly the team can ship new crypto features without compromising security or accuracy.
• • Architect and implement scalable automation frameworks that validate RESTful and WebSocket APIs, React front-ends, and data pipelines ingesting terabytes of on-chain and off-chain data. You will decide which layers of the test pyramid to emphasize, how to parallelize test execution in CI/CD, and when to leverage synthetic test data versus live market feeds.
• • Translate complex product requirements into clear, traceable test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria that both technical and non-technical stakeholders can understand. You will review token-economics specs, AI model cards, and UX mock-ups to ensure every edge case—from flash-loan attacks to decimal rounding errors—is covered.
• • Drive root-cause analysis for production incidents, coordinating hot-fix testing and post-mortems that feed directly into sprint retrospectives. Your ability to reproduce elusive “only-happens-at-3-AM-UTC” bugs will save the company from reputational risk and costly trading losses.
• • Establish and monitor KPIs such as test coverage, mean-time-to-detect (MTTD), and customer-reported defect rate. You will present these metrics weekly to the executive team, turning raw numbers into actionable insights that influence roadmap priorities and engineering OKRs.
• • Champion shift-left practices by embedding QA into design reviews, threat-modeling sessions, and pull-request checklists. You will pair with data scientists to validate model drift, with DevOps to harden Kubernetes manifests, and with security engineers to run chaos experiments on smart-contract integrations.
• • Manage release gates for weekly web deployments and monthly mobile app rollouts, ensuring every build passes automated regression suites, performance benchmarks, and compliance checks before reaching 100k+ active users. When markets are volatile, you will orchestrate same-day patches without downtime.
• • Continuously research emerging QA tools and crypto-specific testing challenges—such as simulating gas-fee spikes or replaying mainnet transactions in a forked environment—and run proof-of-concepts that keep Token Metrics at the cutting edge of fintech quality engineering.
• • Collaborate with Customer Success to triage user-reported issues, translating trader pain points into reproducible test scenarios. Your direct line to global users will shape QA priorities and reinforce a customer-obsessed mindset across the engineering organization.
