📋 Description

• As a Crypto Trading Product Designer at BitMEX, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of a leading global crypto derivatives exchange, directly impacting how traders interact with one of the most innovative platforms in the industry.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user research to inform product design, collaborating with product managers, engineers, and commercial teams on competitive analysis, creating comprehensive UI/UX strategies through wireframes, visual designs, flow diagrams, and storyboards, iterating on product features with the Product team, and regularly presenting design solutions to stakeholders across the organization.
• BitMEX is a globally recognized leader in crypto derivatives trading, renowned for inventing the Perpetual Swap in 2015 and maintaining an impeccable security record since 2014 with “no coin lost, ever!”. The company offers over 100 derivatives contracts, 16 spot trading pairs, and seamless cross-cryptocurrency conversion, serving a diverse, global trader base with a commitment to transparency through regular on-chain Proof of Reserves and Proof of Liabilities.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in FinTech UX/UI design, gain hands-on experience with high-stakes trading platforms, expand your influence as the product portfolio grows, and contribute to a mission-driven culture that values meticulousness, agility, and simplicity in building the future of cryptocurrency ecosystems.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, with preference for candidates who have worked in the FinTech space
• Strong visual design skills coupled with a solid understanding of user-system interaction principles
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in graphic design, interface design, or a closely related field
• Proven experience designing across multiple technologies and channels, including mobile, desktop, and web platforms
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities to thrive in a global, distributed team environment
• Demonstrated interest in or experience with trading platforms, cryptocurrencies, and digital assets
