📋 Description

• Serve as the scientific and technical expert for Agilent’s Pathology and Genomics Solutions within the New England territory (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts).
• Provide pre-sales scientific consultation to customers, partnering with Sales Account Managers to recommend optimal pathology and genomics workflows.
• Conduct in-person and remote customer presentations and demonstrations as the primary technical subject matter expert.
• Co-travel with Sales teams to support new business development and expand existing customer accounts.
• Support post-sales installations, including on-site training, Performance Qualification, and assay optimization for IHC, Special Stains, H&E, and Molecular ISH/FISH.
• Deliver on-site and remote troubleshooting for customer assays in collaboration with Applications, Technical Support, Sales, and Field Service teams.
• Maintain and operate instrumentation at Agilent’s Lexington Center of Excellence to support customer demonstrations and slide staining.
• Act as the customer voice by providing feedback to product and application development teams based on real-world usage and challenges.
• Stay current on competitive solutions and effectively articulate Agilent’s value differentiators to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Complete all required administrative tasks including travel scheduling, expense reporting, and service documentation.
• Perform hands-on laboratory activities including slide preparation, staining, and instrumentation operation.
• Travel up to 75% of the time throughout the assigned territory to support customer sites, demonstrations, training, and installations.
• Adhere to all Agilent-approved credentialing requirements for access to customer and vendor facilities.
• Maintain flexible working hours to accommodate customer needs and travel schedules.
• Lift and handle equipment weighing up to 30 pounds as required for on-site support and laboratory tasks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field
• 1–2 years of experience supporting pathology and genomics instrumentation and workflows in clinical or laboratory environments
• Strong technical background in Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Special Stains, H&E, and Molecular ISH/FISH
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform hands-on laboratory activities
• Must meet Agilent-approved customer and vendor credentialing requirements for site access
