  • • Serve as the scientific and technical expert for Agilent’s Pathology and Genomics Solutions within the New England territory (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts).
  • • Provide pre-sales scientific consultation to customers, partnering with Sales Account Managers to recommend optimal pathology and genomics workflows.
  • • Conduct in-person and remote customer presentations and demonstrations as the primary technical subject matter expert.
  • • Co-travel with Sales teams to support new business development and expand existing customer accounts.
  • • Support post-sales installations, including on-site training, Performance Qualification, and assay optimization for IHC, Special Stains, H&E, and Molecular ISH/FISH.
  • • Deliver on-site and remote troubleshooting for customer assays in collaboration with Applications, Technical Support, Sales, and Field Service teams.
  • • Maintain and operate instrumentation at Agilent’s Lexington Center of Excellence to support customer demonstrations and slide staining.
  • • Act as the customer voice by providing feedback to product and application development teams based on real-world usage and challenges.
  • • Stay current on competitive solutions and effectively articulate Agilent’s value differentiators to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • • Complete all required administrative tasks including travel scheduling, expense reporting, and service documentation.
  • • Perform hands-on laboratory activities including slide preparation, staining, and instrumentation operation.
  • • Travel up to 75% of the time throughout the assigned territory to support customer sites, demonstrations, training, and installations.
  • • Adhere to all Agilent-approved credentialing requirements for access to customer and vendor facilities.
  • • Maintain flexible working hours to accommodate customer needs and travel schedules.
  • • Lift and handle equipment weighing up to 30 pounds as required for on-site support and laboratory tasks.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field
  • • 1–2 years of experience supporting pathology and genomics instrumentation and workflows in clinical or laboratory environments
  • • Strong technical background in Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Special Stains, H&E, and Molecular ISH/FISH
  • • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time
  • • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform hands-on laboratory activities
  • • Must meet Agilent-approved customer and vendor credentialing requirements for site access
