  • • As a Customer Care and Sales Advisor I at Sparklight, a Cable One brand, you will serve as the supportive voice and solutions partner for customers, building trust through empathetic listening and clear communication while addressing billing questions, scheduling services, and guiding product changes.
  • • Day to day, you will respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone or ticketing systems, handle requests to disconnect or remove services, provide billing and pricing information, resolve standard issues remotely, schedule service appointments, arrange product returns or exchanges, and manage add/change/delete requests in hosted platforms.
  • • You will use effective telephone-based selling skills to build rapport, identify customer issues, offer creative solutions, explain product benefits, negotiate household spend, upsell additional services, and accurately input orders while meeting or exceeding weekly and monthly sales activity goals.
  • • You will work within a designated region or business area, follow company-approved scripts for consistent communication, assist with special projects as assigned, and grow into handling more complex situations such as retaining customers considering disconnection and matching their needs with the right products and services.

🎯 Requirements

  • • High School Diploma or GED
  • • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • • Ability to remain composed and empathetic in high-pressure situations
  • • Working knowledge of Cable One products and services (or ability to learn quickly)
  • • Ability to sit for extended periods, use hands, talk, and hear
  • • May be required to lift up to 10 pounds
