- • As a Customer Care Specialist - Spend - German Speaker at Perk.com Inc., you will serve as a vital frontline representative dedicated to delivering exceptional support to customers across Germany, Switzerland, and Europe, ensuring seamless resolution of inquiries related to travel and spend management while embodying the company’s mission to eliminate shadow work and empower real productivity.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include responding promptly and accurately to customer queries via email, chat, and phone; troubleshooting and resolving technical and operational issues with empathy and precision; documenting all interactions in the ticketing system; owning the end-to-end tracking of incidents or bugs from report to resolution; acting as the internal point of contact for operational knowledge about Perk’s software suite; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to escalate complex cases and drive continuous improvement in customer experience.
- • You will join a dynamic, globally distributed Customer Care team within Perk’s broader mission-driven organization, where collaboration, transparency, and empathy are core values, and where your contributions directly impact the experience of over 10,000 corporate clients worldwide, including industry leaders like Wise, On Running, and Breitling.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in Perk’s intelligent travel and spend management platform, sharpen your problem-solving and communication skills in a fast-paced SaaS environment, gain exposure to cross-functional workflows across product, engineering, and finance teams, and build a foundation for career growth in customer success, operations, or product support within a high-growth, innovative tech company.
🎯 Requirements
- • Fluency in both English and German, with additional languages considered a strong advantage
- • Proven experience handling high volumes of external customer inquiries and internal team clarifications in a fast-paced operational environment
- • Background in finance or accounting is a strong plus, particularly for understanding spend management use cases
- • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with a structured, detail-oriented approach
- • Comfort working in a hybrid (IRL-first) environment requiring 3 days per week in the Barcelona office
