- • Develop production-quality integrations connecting Mia, an AI assistant, to electronic health record (EHR) systems, practice management software, and data warehouses using APIs, middleware, and data exchange protocols.
- • Build and maintain robust data pipelines that enable seamless, secure, and reliable data flow between Mia and customer systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards.
- • Create reusable integration modules and templates to accelerate deployment cycles and reduce redundancy across customer implementations.
- • Lead technical discovery sessions with customer IT and engineering teams to understand workflow requirements, identify integration constraints, and define technical specifications.
- • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers during integration deployment, troubleshooting, and incident resolution, providing Tier 2/3 support for production environments.
- • Translate complex clinical and administrative healthcare workflows into clear, actionable technical requirements for internal engineering teams and customer stakeholders.
- • Configure and deploy integration solutions for new customers, resolving data mapping conflicts, authentication issues, and system compatibility challenges in real time.
- • Author and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, integration playbooks, training materials, and runbooks to support internal teams and customer onboarding.
- • Identify opportunities to automate manual integration processes, improve system reliability, and enhance scalability as the customer base grows.
- • Collaborate closely with the agent platform team to design and implement new integration architectures that align with evolving AI capabilities and customer needs.
- • Represent Hello Patient professionally in client-facing technical discussions, ensuring clear communication, trust, and alignment on project timelines and deliverables.
- • Work independently to manage multiple concurrent integration projects, prioritize tasks under tight deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing customer requirements in a fast-paced startup environment.
- • Ensure all integrations adhere to security and compliance standards critical to healthcare data handling, including HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
- • Continuously improve integration tooling and processes based on feedback from customers, support teams, and internal product development cycles.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or integration work in production environments
- • Proven track record building and maintaining real integrations — data pipelines, API integrations, or similar
- • Python experience
- • Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), webhooks, and authentication standards (OAuth, JWT)
- • Strong communication skills — this hire must be comfortable leading technical conversations with clients and representing Hello Patient professionally
- • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

- • Base salary: $110,000 – $160,000 USD annually, depending on experience
