- • Join Scholastic’s mission to create lifelong readers by providing exceptional customer service across supported programs, including Restocks, Financial Form assistance, Point of Sale troubleshooting, and Catalog orders.
- • Handle customer calls, faxes, and emails with professionalism, prioritize needs, resolve issues by identifying root causes, and follow up to ensure satisfaction while escalating when necessary.
- • Support sales teams with customer-related issues, assist in outbound call campaigns, and contribute to special service-related programs and projects, including new hire training and peer-led initiatives.
- • Maintain process, product, and program knowledge to make informed suggestions, uphold Scholastic Book Fairs policies, and ensure accurate documentation in systems.
- • Collaborate with sales teams to align processes and enhance customer satisfaction, participate in training and meetings, and uphold attendance and schedule adherence with flexibility for overtime and shifting schedules.
- • Contribute to Scholastic’s culture, values, and goals by modeling its mission and supporting business initiatives such as reconfirmations, Scholastic Dollars redemption, collections, and school closure documentation.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School diploma or GED certificate required.
- • Minimum two years of customer service or business-related experience.
- • Demonstrated customer service skills, including handling complaints and maintaining professional demeanor.
- • Proficiency in PC skills, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and familiarity with Teams and Salesforce (a plus).
- • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities with attention to detail and deadline adherence.
- • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
