  • • As a Customer Success Manager at Esper Technologies, you will serve as a strategic partner to government and public sector clients, driving value throughout the post-sale lifecycle by ensuring adoption, expansion, and renewal of the Esper platform.
  • • You will manage a portfolio of 25-50 customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for renewals, health monitoring, engagement, and growth, while building trust-based relationships across stakeholders and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking product usage and health scores, identifying risks and expansion opportunities, leading Executive Business Reviews, resolving customer issues as a frontline liaison, and collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Leadership to align on account strategy and feedback.
  • • You will work within Esper’s mission-driven GovTech environment, where you can contribute to transforming government policymaking through data-driven innovation, while developing expertise in SaaS customer success, public policy technology, and cross-functional collaboration in a high-growth startup.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-7 years of experience in SaaS software customer success or account management, specifically owning a book of business focused on retention, renewals, and expansion
  • • Proven ability to manage multiple customer workstreams with strong ownership of timelines, action items, risks, and stakeholder communication
  • • Experience using customer health scoring (based on product usage, engagement, and sentiment) to proactively identify churn risks and execute mitigation plans
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including workshop facilitation, training, and customer-facing presentations
  • • Proficiency with common business tools such as Excel, GSuite, Jira, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Gainsight
  • • Ability to travel domestically up to 30% depending on business need
