đź“‹ Description
- • As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Valdera, you will be at the forefront of empowering the world's most innovative manufacturers to revolutionize their material sourcing. You will be instrumental in ensuring our enterprise clients achieve tangible, measurable value from Valdera's AI-native sourcing platform, acting as a trusted strategic partner to procurement leaders and supply chain executives.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to own the entire customer lifecycle for a dedicated portfolio of enterprise accounts across North America. This encompasses the critical phases of onboarding, driving deep platform adoption, fostering long-term retention, identifying and executing expansion opportunities, and ultimately, ensuring the delivery of significant business impact.
- • You will cultivate and lead the day-to-day relationships with key customer stakeholders, including executive sponsors, functional leads, and end-users. This involves aligning diverse teams within the client organization around shared objectives, facilitating effective execution of Valdera's platform, and ensuring the consistent delivery of desired outcomes.
- • A core aspect of your role will be translating platform usage and engagement into quantifiable business value. You will work collaboratively with clients to identify and articulate key metrics such as cost savings achieved through optimized sourcing, reduction in supply chain risks, and enhancements in overall supply chain resilience and agility.
- • You will play a pivotal role in developing and refining scalable processes, best practices, and customer-facing enablement materials. This proactive approach aims to accelerate platform adoption, deepen user engagement, and strengthen the overall execution of sourcing strategies leveraging Valdera's technology.
- • This is a highly cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with Valdera's Sales, Product, and Engineering teams. You will serve as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for their needs, providing critical feedback to inform product development, and working proactively to resolve any technical or operational issues that may arise.
- • You will be responsible for understanding the unique challenges and strategic goals of each client within the manufacturing, CPG, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. This deep understanding will enable you to tailor Valdera's solutions and guidance to address their specific sourcing complexities and drive maximum ROI.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of enterprise SaaS adoption dynamics and how to scale solutions within large, complex organizations. You will guide clients through change management processes, helping them integrate Valdera into their existing workflows and overcome adoption hurdles.
- • You will proactively monitor customer health, identify potential risks to retention or expansion, and develop and execute strategic plans to mitigate these risks and ensure continued customer satisfaction and growth.
- • Beyond day-to-day management, you will contribute to the strategic development of Valdera's Customer Success organization. This includes sharing insights, contributing to playbooks, and helping to shape the future operating model of our customer-facing teams.
- • You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the chemical and raw material sourcing landscape, including industry terminology such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and the intricacies of supplier qualification and negotiation.
- • This role demands a proactive, 'get-it-done' attitude, where you are comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy and taking full ownership of customer outcomes in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- • You will leverage your intellectual curiosity to continuously learn about the manufacturing processes and the underlying chemistry of the products our clients produce, enabling you to better understand their needs and position Valdera's value proposition.
- • Building and nurturing strong, trust-based relationships with clients is paramount. Your success will be measured not only by platform adoption and retention but also by the genuine partnerships you forge and the positive impact you have on your clients' businesses.
- • As a builder mentality is highly valued, you will actively contribute to shaping and improving our processes, tools, and overall customer success strategy, rather than waiting for established structures.
- • You will be a key player in ensuring our clients achieve significant cost savings, mitigate supply chain risks, and build more resilient and agile supply chains, directly contributing to the modernization of the physical economy.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5-10 years of total professional experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years specifically in enterprise SaaS account management or customer success roles.
- • Proven track record of managing a portfolio of enterprise clients, demonstrating success in onboarding, driving adoption, managing renewals, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
- • Native or professional fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- • Experience within the Chemicals, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Procurement sectors is highly desirable, including familiarity with terms like BOMs, RFQs, and raw material sourcing.
- • Demonstrated experience with transformation and value-creation initiatives, with hands-on ownership of client outcomes.
- • Comfort operating within multi-stakeholder enterprise organizations, leading change management programs, and maintaining execution momentum.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Opportunity to play a key role in shaping Valdera's Customer Success organization and its operating model.
- • High-impact role focused on fixing the physical supply chain, not just optimizing digital interactions.
- • Work alongside a world-class team with diverse backgrounds in tech and industry.
- • Environment that prioritizes rapid career acceleration and professional growth.
- • Competitive salary and benefits package (details to be discussed during the interview process).
- • Remote work flexibility within North America.
