- • As a Strategic Customer Success Manager for the DACH region at Watershed Technology, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer success for enterprise clients navigating their climate and ESG journeys, directly contributing to the company’s mission of enabling real decarbonization through data-driven insights and audit-ready reporting.
- • You will own the end-to-end experience for Watershed’s largest customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, building trusted relationships with C-suite and executive stakeholders at FTSE/DAX/CAC 40 companies to ensure they derive maximum value from the platform and achieve their sustainability goals.
- • Day to day, you will onboard strategic customers onto the Watershed dashboard, guide them in gathering accurate carbon footprint data, and help them set, track, and achieve science-based climate plans aligned with frameworks like CSRD.
- • You will act as the voice of the customer internally, synthesizing feedback from client interactions to inform product development, ensuring Watershed’s roadmap evolves to meet the complex needs of enterprise sustainability teams.
- • You will collaborate closely with sales, product, and services teams to translate customer needs into actionable outcomes, leveraging cross-functional expertise to deliver tailored solutions that drive retention and expansion.
- • You will deepen your expertise in corporate sustainability, climate science, and ESG reporting standards, becoming a trusted advisor who educates customers on emerging regulations and best practices while helping them hit key milestones in their decarbonization journey.
- • You will join a mission-driven, rapidly growing startup with a global presence, where you’ll have the opportunity to help build the Customer Success function from the ground up in Berlin, shaping team culture and processes as Watershed scales across Europe.
- • You will develop advanced project management and stakeholder engagement skills by managing complex, multi-stakeholder customer portfolios, balancing competing priorities while maintaining high levels of organization and follow-through.
- • The Watershed Berlin office is part of a growing European hub, offering collaboration with peers in London, Paris, and remote teammates across the region, all united by a shared commitment to climate action and innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Customer Success Manager in a SaaS organization, preferably with enterprise or strategic account management.
- • Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with C-level executives at large organizations (10,000+ employees).
- • Fluency in both English and German, written and verbal, to effectively engage DACH-region customers and internal teams.
- • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex customer initiatives simultaneously.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including experience in enterprise-level customer-facing roles requiring clarity, empathy, and influence.
- • Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about sustainability, climate data, and ESG reporting frameworks.
