This role is crucial in maintaining strong client relationships and providing real-time solutions that empower users to leverage PitchBook's comprehensive data and insights effectively. You will be an integral part of the Account Management & Customer Success team, embodying a commitment to continuous growth, innovation, and customer-centricity. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment, driving both personal development and company success.
  • • In this pivotal role, your daily responsibilities will encompass providing direct customer support through multiple channels, including chat, phone, and email, to our existing PitchBook clients. You will diligently work with fellow support specialists to troubleshoot and resolve a wide array of customer issues, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. A key aspect of your day will involve actively engaging with clients, offering real-time assistance and guidance to help them navigate and utilize the PitchBook platform. You will be responsible for identifying customer experience pain points, meticulously documenting the details of each interaction in Salesforce, and contributing valuable insights that will inform product improvements and help PitchBook optimize its platform for a global clientele. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with global teams to guarantee continuous support availability during essential business hours, ensuring our clients receive timely assistance regardless of their location or time zone. You will also play a role in supporting the company's vision and values by modeling desired behaviors and actively participating in various company initiatives and projects as requested, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • • You will be joining PitchBook's Account Management & Customer Success team, a group that thrives on embracing change and driving growth. This team values collaboration, curiosity, and a people-first attitude, fostering strong, trusting relationships with teammates, customers, and partners. The company culture at PitchBook is deeply collaborative, fueled by the excitement and energy that reverberates throughout the organization. We believe in the power of in-person collaboration, with a strong emphasis on spontaneous interactions, hallway conversations, whiteboard brainstorms, and shared celebrations that foster innovation and strengthen connections. This role is expected to be in the office 5 days a week, contributing to this vibrant, in-person work environment.
  • • This position offers a significant opportunity for professional development within the financial technology sector. You will gain hands-on experience in customer support, CRM management (specifically Salesforce), and client relations within the dynamic world of private equity and venture capital. By identifying and relaying customer feedback, you will directly influence product enhancements and contribute to the optimization of a leading financial data platform. The role encourages continuous learning through robust training programs on industry trends and soft skills, allowing you to expand your knowledge base and adapt to a rapidly evolving industry. You will have the chance to develop strong problem-solving skills, enhance your communication and interpersonal abilities, and build a career within a growing and innovative company, potentially leading to future opportunities within the Account Management & Customer Success functions or other areas of PitchBook.
  • • The core of your function involves being the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance, requiring a proactive and empathetic approach to understand and address their needs effectively. You will be tasked with managing a high volume of inquiries across chat, phone, and email, necessitating excellent organizational and prioritization skills to ensure timely and accurate responses. A critical part of your role is to meticulously document all customer interactions within Salesforce, creating a comprehensive record that aids in issue resolution and provides valuable data for product development teams. You will collaborate with a global network of support specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices to ensure consistent service delivery across different time zones and regions. Your ability to adapt to changing industry trends and internal organizational updates will be paramount, as you'll need to stay informed to provide relevant and up-to-date support. You will also be expected to embody PitchBook's values, acting as a brand ambassador and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences, all while working within a supportive and growth-oriented team. The expectation is to be present in the office five days a week, fostering a strong sense of teamwork and facilitating the in-person collaboration that PitchBook values.
