- • As a Cyber Security Consultant at Crosslake Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in guiding private equity firms and their portfolio companies through the complex landscape of information security. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing robust security visions and strategies that are intrinsically aligned with our clients' overarching business objectives. - • You will be tasked with conducting comprehensive assessments of information security risks, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing actionable plans to address them. This involves a proactive approach to safeguarding client assets and ensuring the integrity of their operations. Your insights will be crucial in helping clients navigate the ever-evolving threat environment and build resilient security postures.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves direct engagement with executive leadership, including CIOs, CTOs, CEOs, and Data Protection Officers. You will need to effectively communicate complex security concepts, understand their strategic priorities, and collaborate to implement desired changes within their organizations. Building trust and rapport with these key stakeholders will be paramount to success.
- • You will contribute to leading enterprise-wide cybersecurity operations, encompassing teams, processes, and incident response mechanisms. This includes assisting in the management of customer security programs, ensuring the achievement and maintenance of critical compliance initiatives such as SOC, ISO27001, NIST, PCI, and SOX. Your guidance will help clients meet stringent regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- • A core responsibility will be to execute and direct activities related to the identification, containment, mitigation, and recovery of cybersecurity incidents. This requires a calm and decisive approach under pressure, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations and assets.
- • You will represent Crosslake Technologies in various industry cybersecurity forums and working groups, including sector-specific cyber threat intelligence communities. This outward-facing role allows you to stay at the forefront of emerging threats and best practices, while also enhancing Crosslake's reputation and network.
- • You will collaborate with clients to evaluate, implement, and secure key systems within their environments. This includes analyzing and assessing systems for security risks, providing business-prioritized remediation recommendations, and ensuring that new technologies and security solutions are implemented in alignment with industry best practices and principles of secure design.
- • Assisting in the documentation, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes related to strong security and compliance controls is a key function. This ensures that clients have well-defined and consistently applied security measures in place.
- • You will work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure that security architectures are thoroughly assessed and adequately supported, fostering a seamless integration of security into the technology lifecycle.
- • This role demands a strong understanding of business management processes, including the effective employment of information security risk management and cybersecurity technologies. You will need to translate technical security requirements into business-relevant outcomes.
- • Your knowledge base should encompass application security, cloud security, encryption techniques, identity and access management, mobile security, network security, and virtualization security. This broad technical understanding allows you to address a wide array of security challenges.

🎯 Requirements
- • 15+ years of experience securing organizations as an in-house team member or advisor/consultant in roles such as Chief Information Security Officer, Director/Manager of Information Security, Director/Manager of Compliance, Principal Security Analyst, Principal Security Engineer, or Security Architect.
- • Deep knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, including frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI, HIPAA, SOC, SOX, and NIST, along with strong practical experience in implementing security best practices within organizations.
- • Solid understanding of business management processes, including the application of information security risk management and cybersecurity technologies.
- • Proven ability to successfully implement security controls within an organization, demonstrated through a track record of impactful projects and initiatives.
